just to nutrulize
newspaper listings
and act like amusement is a right
and that free speech
is entitlement
given out to us by the government
that we are all contrbuting too
buy using up the land
that we don't need
or we just take speed
and fire out a couple copies
of a resume

and dismay
every corner
that we don't pay into
or fight for immigrants
or fight for more Walmarts
or we fight for every fort night
set sights
on those who are the best at the worst sports
the Olympics haven't been good since Olympia
and life use to be better
when we'd kill each other

more simple media
more stories about do gooders
more CBC documentaries
that aren't just fluff pieces

more hand holding
more air breathing
and with an air of discourse
I'm taking online classes
about the bears in the real world
trying to collects my taxes
patrolled by government employees
that don't believe its necessary
for me to eat
or to defeat
the next debutante

then I nonchalantly remind a friend their racist
cause i learned that from the bassist of my favourite band
and the basses for this rap is that i have no plans
but i wish i could defeat all evil
and befriend all good
and defend all equally
and give hugs to those misunderstood

but i cant
cause im quiet
and i won't
cause i'm shy
and its just a song
